TobyMac is one of the kings of Christian hip-hop. Taking waves of rock and hip-hop to the contemporary Christian music scene, he is well-known for his rockin' hits that strike deep in faith. His hit tracks include "Get Back Up", "Me Without You", "Love Broke Thru", "I Just Need U.", "Help Is on the Way (Maybe Midnight)", and many more. Though he concentrates on an unexpected genre to fit in Christian music, he paved the way in providing believers an avenue to rock their style - in hip-hop and rock dedicated to the one and only King.
At 58, he's still burning with passion for music as his best expression of faith. Despite tough challenges, He continues to stand firm in Jesus' name. "After what I've experienced and losing my firstborn, I just think people came alongside me and helped me – helped me maybe sing some of the things that were hard for me to sing, and maybe made me a little stronger. So I'm grateful," he shared about his recent album, "Life After Death".
Texas-based Crowder rose to success in the early 2000s in the Contemporary Christian Music scene. His passion for powerful art first transpired when he realized that more than half of the students in a Christian university he was attending did not go to church. Through the power of music, he started writing songs to attract younger audiences and actively recruited students to his worship services. Then the rest was history, he continues to inspire younger generations with music that people can relate to and feel God's presence over their lives.
